This "Holiday Concert" will include music of the season featuring all sections of the Honor Band. The band will open the program with a dynamic holiday fanfare followed by a very lyrical arrangement of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". One of the featured soloists for the evening is Mr. Kevin Boyle, percussion instructor at PCMS. Mr. Boyle will dazzle the audience with his drum set playing as he performs an upbeat version of Jingle Bells titled "Jingle Jazz". Mark Adams, student teacher, will be conducting the band as Mr. Boyle is featured as the guest soloist. Clara Pantazopoulos, PCMS assistant band director, will lead the band in a very innovative musical story of Santa Claus traveling around the world as the band performs "Santa's Big Adventure". Several small ensembles will present a variety of holiday arrangements. The concert will conclude with a traditional Christmas carol medley featuring a PCMS alumni, Alison Holmes, as she leads the audience in a carol sing along. This very special Holiday Concert is Thursday, December 14, 7:00 PM, at Reinhardt College. Admission is free!
